Willow Wood Barn has direct access to the National Cycle Route which is both popular and very beautiful. For walking enthusiast there are many lovely walks, encountering on route some very nice country pubs. Footpaths accessible from Hog Lane. The Vale Chesham has the Black Horse pub. Cholesbury Commons has the Full Moon both of which are very popular. The Eagle Pub is situated at the end of Hog Lane on the Chesham road along with the Lazy Pig pub and restaurant.
Not too far is another very quaint market town of Tring which also offers lovely coffee shops and a few restaurants. The Tring Museum is well worth a visit and is adjacent to the park.
Chesham is approx 1 mile and lies in a valley another popular market town with the Elgiva Theater, Lowndes Park and the Moor Gym and Swim.
